  11. Then add the vanilla and confectioner's sugar and beat it well using electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  12. With a sharp knife cut the cake in 3 layers, horizontally on the plate.
  13. Using a pallete knife or spatula, spread some of the cream cheese frosting over the top of the base layer of the cake.
  14. Carefully set another layer on top and repeat same process.
  15. Top with the remaining layer and cover the entire cake with the remaining frosting.
  16. Then sprinkle red velvet cake with the cream cheese frosting cone and red velvet crumbs.
